Before preschool ended, the girls learned about caterpillars and the transition to butterflies.
Mrs.Ludlow gave each of the kids a little caterpillar to bring home to watch it as it turned into a beautiful butterfly.
It was so neat to watch the diffrent stages as the caterpillar become a butterfly. It was about a week and a half before they went into a cacoon and they stayed a cacoon for about 2 weeks. (Honestly I thought they were dead) Then one day Taylie's made it's way out and the next day Rylie's came. We fed the oranges and gave them flowers and released them a week later.
We didn't get good pictures of Rylie's because it flew right out.
